Mr. Mom

So MommyGeekology is out of town for BlogHer09 and I’m left to keep the rugrats from tearing the place up too bad… (I know, I know, it’s ME she’s more afraid of, just let me have my delusions).  However, I did totally rock the morning routine today!  Geeklet woke up at 5:01am (grrrr…) so I at least had plenty of time to prepare.  Everything was packed up and everyone was dressed on time.  I figured out a more efficient way to get the ridiculous amount of crap into the car (serously, some of this needs to be trimmed down) and delt with the mother-in-law drama on the phone that MommyGeekology usually gets every morning.  Somewhere in between I found the energy to empty and reload the dishwasher.  I know, I know, no biggie for all the moms out there but I feel pretty damn good about it so I’m just going to pretend that I’m totally awesome, thanks .   4 hours down, 76 hours to go…

For the Techies:  I’ve got some good articles in the works for the next few weeks when I find the time to put them together.  I’ll be talking about BackupPC, Nagios, a kickass custom SMB appliance, Linux for Windows peeps, and learning Powershell.  Oh, and I’m sure to throw some VMware stuff in here and there as well.
